By holding a card from Veneti for CBT, individuals will be entitled to many benefits such as reduced rates in specific workshops, seminars, conferences, scientific events.
Also, card holders have the opportunity to network with CBT practitioners and academics and receive online access to journals, papers and other clinical or/and professional issues of interest that are published in the Veneti for CBT newsletters.  
Card holders receive a 10% discount to CBT training programs, workshops, seminars that are offered from the Educational institutions or/and centre for professional trainings which hold the Veneti for CBT Organizational Card. 

Accreditation

Card holders who meet the standards for CBT training and practice can apply for Accreditation as a Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists.
Accredited Veneti for CBT Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists must meet the criteria for continuing supervised clinical practice and professional development on specific basis as suggested in the main categories to maintain accreditation.

Professional Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists

Requirements 

A.   Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, psychiatry, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy from an accredited university.

B.   Successful completion of a primary or introductory certification program in cognitive-behavioral therapy from an accredited training institution or university.  

C.   Ten years of experience at providing cognitive-behavioral therapy that must be verified by supervisors.

D.   Researches, presentations or/and publications in the applied cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. 

E.    Two letters of recommendation from cognitive-behavioral professionals who are familiar with the applicant's skills.

H.   The Certification of Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists is effective for three years. The member must submit at the end of the three years proof of continuing education at least 15 hours that received during the three-year certification period. The Veneti for CBT provides several avenues to obtain continuing education, including lectures, seminars, and workshops.

If the member fails to meet the continuing education requirements at the end of the three-year certification period, he or she becomes a cognitive-behavioral therapist card holder. 

I.    Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists must publish one article every year that is closely related to CBT in the Veneto for CBT newsletter.

J.      Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists include themselves at no additional cost in the Veneti for CBT Online Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists Catalogue.  

Professional Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists

Requirements 

A.   Degree in psychology, counseling, psychiatry, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy from an accredited university.

B.   Successful completion of a primary or introductory certification program in cognitive-behavioral therapy from an accredited training institution or university.  

C.   Less of five years of experience at providing cognitive-behavioral therapy that must be verified by supervisors.

D.   Two letters of recommendation from cognitive-behavioral professionals who are familiar with the applicant's skills.

G.   The certification of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists is effective for two years. The member must submit at the end of the two years proof of continuing education at least 10 hours that received during the two-year certification period.  The Veneti for CBT provides several avenues to obtain continuing education, including lectures, seminars, workshops. If the member fails to meet the continuing education requirements at the end of the two-year certification period, he or she may not have the chance to become again a cognitive-behavioral therapist card holder.

Cognitive-Behavioral Trainees

Requirements 

A.   Bachelor, master or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, psychiatry, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy from an accredited university.

B.   Enroll in a primary or introductory certification program in cognitive-behavioral therapy from an accredited training institution or university.

Associates

Associate card is for those new to the field of counseling and psychotherapy. Also, individuals interested in counseling, who are not eligible for any other type of card may become associate card holder. 

Requeriments

A. One year minimum experience in counseling. Or alternatively, individuals that complete a Counseling Certicate Program such as training course to the field of counseling or any other Counseling or Psychotherapy Certificate Program. 

B. Associate card holders are expected to continue work toward the requeriments of professional type of card by visiting trainings or programs, completing supervised work with clients and other professional development, and demostrating commitment to the field of indepedent counseling or psychotherpy.

Requirements for Certified Training Programs

Educational institutions or/and centre for professional trainings can certify trainings of professional programs that offer in the field of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.  

Criteria

The scientific director of each training program should fulfil the following criteria:

A.   Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, psychiatry, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy from an accredited university.

B.   Successful completion of a certification program in cognitive-behavioral therapy from an accredited training institution or university.  

C.   Completion of supervision and personal cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy that must be verified by supervisors and therapists. 

D.   Five years of experience at providing cognitive-behavioral therapy that must be verified by supervisors.

E.    Researches, presentations or/and publications in the applied cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.
